The cooling mat has become a favorite place for my dogs to sleep at night. They even prefer it over their cozy beds. One of my dogs has Laryngeal paralysis so the cooling mat helps with her breathing issues. We take it with us to dog shows to put in their crate to keep them cool and relaxed. I also purchased the cover which I stopped using since it collects dog hair too easily. I find the mat is easier to clean without the cover. Great product.

My dog quit getting in her bed since it started getting warmer. I put the Cool Pet Pad in her bed and she's back. Loves her bed again.

We just received our cooling pad and cover and Blue loves it right the way. The minut I put it down he went lay down right the way.

I bought two and after having them 2 days I bought 3 more. These are perfect for their crates to keep my Pekingese cool on warm days. I have two medium ones around 2 in the crates and I bought a large one. I highly recommend buying the large ones if your pups like to have what the other one has. I plan on buying another large to put out on the deck.

Our two Norfolk Terriers immediately fell in love with their cooling mats from Thegreenpetshop. We now have 4 of them, and our furry kids especially like it when we double them up. We also take them for the dog sling in our SUV—just the thing for traveling in the Sunshine State wearing a fur coat. These were well worth the purchase. Thegreenpetshop has made or dogs very happy ones.

I had no idea that the fabric this mat/bed is made from could actually provide warmth as is described on the website but I’m so glad I ordered one for my arthritic cattle dog. I tested it out myself by leaning my back against it and it really does provide warmth!! Thank you for a truly great product!

This is an amazing product! Easy to clean as well as the cover, which washes nicely! Bought two pads for our 125# girl to stretch out on! She loves it! Folds up perfectly for traveling. I kept the sleeve it came in.

Got the small cooling mat for our pet Peking duck, Bean, we put it on her bed, she loves it. Prefers a blanket over for comfort but it definitely keeps her from panting when she comes in the house for her evening visit. Thank you. Not just for the four legged pets.

My Lab puppy, Scout, has had a Cool Pet Pad since he was about 6 mos (15 months now) and he uses it all the time. After a couple of months, he had chewed a few holes in it when left unattended (thankfully, it's non-toxic) so I decided to not replace it until he was past the teenage phase.
However, after a couple of days, I noticed that he had a much harder time settling down without his mat. I knew that he used it all the time but I didn't realize how much comfort it provided him. So, yes, I immediately ordered him a replacement and he is happy (and napping peacefully) once again.
I'd also like to add that we were introduced to your products when I purchased a Chillz Gel Mat from HomeGoods. The seam blew (& gel oozed everywhere) after about 2 days when I, accidentally, stepped on the corner. After researching that you had a "heavier duty" cooling mat, I made the purchase and have been very satisfied with the Cool Pet Pad. I’ve stepped on it, Scout continually pounces on it, etc and it’s held up beautifully! Thank you!

We have a 13 year old English Springer who has diabetes and is always super hot. He is on the mat as I type this review. Definitely helps him stay cool and comfortable for hours!

Don’t spend money on a cheap mat that doesn’t really keep you pet cool . This is the best mat around. Its design is great as it works so well with my senior pup that gets hot . I also bought the cover this time around and it’s a game changer . It still allows that mat to activate and keep my pup cool , and it’s soft , and washable ( the cover ) so if you’re in the market for a mat this company is the best . My pup is 13 years old and I’ve use Thegreenpetshop only for him and my cat ! Do not waste your money . I always make sure it says Thegreenpetshop on it . The absolute best 👍

It took a few weeks before Charlie realized this pad was comfortable. But once he did....he has used it every day. Very pleased with my purchase.

For my Siberian Huskies 3rd birthday, I got him the largest cooling pad. I wish I had gotten Harvey one sooner! He passed away unexpectedly last week from lymphoma. He was my best friend and we'd swear that he was a human boy trapped in a dog body. We now know that his cooling pad helped ease the pain that he hid from us in his final days. I'm forever greatful for that and think this product should be a standard in every animal ICU. I'd do anything to bring my baby back, but I find some comfort in how happy his cooling pad made him. He literally always stopped to smell the flowers and would want us to do the same.

We have a 14 year old rescue pug and she was having a hard time staying cool in the LA summer. She has a double coat and is very fluffy. One of my coworkers recommended this and it’s wonderful. She’s obsessed with it and always wants to lay on it. She absolutely loves it. We got the cover as well and it makes it very easy to clean.

Bought this for my border collie x aussie who has a long coat. But my short-haired border collie pup hogs it instead. Great purchase and recommending to all my friends with dogs :)

It took awhile for Rudy to lay on it. One day I tried it to see how it works, I thoughtif he does not use it I will. That's all it tuck. He now uses it when he wants.

My dog Maya is mostly Australian Shepherd, which means she has a long, beautiful coat which gets too warm in the summer. She used to wake up panting in the middle of every night, then would move from her orthopedic bed to the carpet. I placed the Pad directly on top of her bed and she immediately started sleeping through the night. What a treat for her AND me!

Love the cover and that my dog even asks for her covered cooling mat when I have pulled the mat up. I needed a cover for our home and another one for the mat for work (my dog is a service dog). I thought the cover was a little thin when I got it, but have come to realize it is that right thinness/thickness for the cooling mat.
